Jane Street – Home Renovation

This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the Tri Cities area of Vancouver, is situated in the perfect location, backing onto a green belt on a quiet street with its own fenced backyard. When looking at purchasing this property, the location was ideal but the interior was less to be desired. Encompassing a galley kitchen, dark cabinetry and floors, made it a dark and closed off space. But understanding the potential this home had, we picked this home off the market and made it into a beautiful, inviting home with a great location!

We took this apartment and opened it up creating a bright, inviting space. We did this by modernizing and brightening the walls and flooring. We removed the wall from the kitchen to the living room, creating an open concept space. We installed new white cupboards and increasing the storage space by adding more cupboards.  We added in a spacious island that can be used for cooking or entertaining, or even both! We matched the island top with the same quartz as the counters to bring the look together. We were also able to modernize the light fixtures and changed out the appliances to stainless steel.

In the bathrooms, we utilized the space we had by installing more compact shower units and adding in that same beautiful quartz that we used in the kitchen for the sinks. This really opened the space up!

The project took 6 weeks to complete on a budget of $40,000.
